Useful Online Resources

AFPMB Database - This site is great! It is the one of the best I’ve seen. It is an amazing resource with over 100,000 articles in PDF free to download. The available articles are not only related to medical entomology but many other fields. Most definitely worth a look!

Walter Reed Biosystematics Unit - It has a very extensive list of articles and books in PDF, most of them relating to mosquito taxonomy. This site also includes the 2001 Systematic Catalog of Culicidae.

PubMedCentral - PubMed Central is the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) free digital archive of numerous biomedical and life sciences journals.

FreeMedicalJournals.com - This site lists hundreds of medical journals from around the world that provide some form of free access to articles.

Open Access Now - It aims to campaign for freedom of research information, and it was launched by BioMed Central in 2003 as a newsletter to raise awareness about open access.
